Box Office Terms & Conditions

1. Prices for tickets are displayed on the Box Office page
2. Everyone attending Sing2024, or wishing to enter the convention centre, must purchase either a ticket, a session wristband, or a show ticket
   1. All competitors and mic-warmers in BABS contests must have a valid ticket in order to compete. They will need to purchase tickets in advance, and be in possession of either a Day Ticket for the day(s) entering the venue, or a Full Weekend ticket
   2. Non-competitors may either purchase a Full Weekend, Day or Show tickets for individual events as required
   3. Non-competitor session passes will also be available to purchase at the venue. These are time-limited to a single contest session only.
   4. Session passes do not allow access to the venue or any other activities beyond the purchased session
3. Under-18s: Please note that we follow the BABS Safeguarding Policy which states that "Under-18s must be accompanied by a nominated responsible adult". These persons should be named when purchasing tickets (enter details in the optional Notes box). It should also be noted that young people cannot be left backstage while their guardian is performing.
4. It is essential that you wear your Convention Pass at all times whilst attending Convention functions.
5. If you do not have a Convention Pass or appropriate Day or Show ticket, you will not be allowed into the venue. Please not that show tickets only give limited access for a period of 30 minutes before and immediately after the show.
6. Convention Passes must not be handed to other people to use; they are for the specific use of the named individual delegate. If anyone is found misusing the passes in this way, the club or quartet associated with the misuse will be fined.
7. Pre-event sales will be available until 26th April 2024
8. After 26th April 2024, up-lifted at-venue rates will apply.
9. The at-venue BABS Box Office will open from 8am on Friday 24th May
10. The at-venue prices will be slightly dearer than the pre-event pricing
11. Please note that all competitors must have purchased their ticket(s) by 1st March 2024
12. All competitors for BABS contests must either be a BABS member, or a member of LABBS or SAI Region 31 and must also have registered as a member no later than 28 days before the start date of the contest.
13. Dual members must also be registered with the quartet(s) and/or chorus(es) they are singing with no later than 28 days before the start date of the contest
14. Guardian U5 tickets are available to the non-competing parent/partner/guardian of a competitor - this allows access to the venue for the full weekend and use of the Barbertots area during competition/show times. (As title implies, child must be 5 years old or under).
15. Please note that under-5s are not permitted into any competitions. However, mic-cooling is not considered part of the competition and under-5s will be permitted into the auditorium for this specific session only.

17. Name changes
    1. £10 per person
    2. Changes are allowed up to 26th April 2024. No changes are possible after this date. If the pass has already been printed/received then the name change will be done at the event and the original pass and proof of request and payment provided.
18. Cancellations
    1. 50% refund for cancellations up to 26th April 2024
    2. 25% refund for cancellations up to midnight on 23rd May 2024
    3. 0% refund for cancellations on or after the first day of the event (24th May 2024)
19. Refunds
    1. These will not be approved or processed without return of the original ticket purchasing documents (name badges). Any refund will be paid by bank transfer or credit/debit card refund if this was the original method used. Refunds for credit/debit card payments will be net of any transaction fees charged to BABS on the original payment.
20. Lost Passes
    1. There will be a £10 fee to cover administration to replace a lost pass
21. Show Tickets
    1. Tickets cannot be exchanged, or monies refunded. Reselling tickets for profit or commercial gain makes them voice.
22. Specific seats for the event will NOT be allocated
23. Special seating arrangements e.g. for the physically disabled: Please request these in writing with your application (Enter in the optional Notes box)
24. Photographs and videos will be taken at this event and will be used by BABS under legitimate interest
25. Your details will be collected and held in a secure database on the Snappy Tickets server, and thereafter held on a computer system by the Registrations Manager and used only for the purpose of this event. Your details will not be passed to any other clubs, organisations or other individuals without your express permission.
